YouGov has teamed up with SMG Insight, a specialised sports marketing consultancy to provide a fresh approach to sports and sponsorship research and consulting.

The partnership offers research and consulting solutions to rights-holders, sponsors, brands, agencies and other investors in sport, including measuring sponsorship opportunities and optimizing sponsorship objectives.

SMG Insight, powered by YouGov, is led by Frank Saez, who was previously Vice President of international sports agency IMG for over eight years and more recently Managing Director of IFM Sports Marketing Surveys.

Saez’s experience and expertise in the sports marketing industry, coupled with YouGov’s reputation for accuracy, its engaged panel of over 350,000 UK members and international experience spanning across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East, offers a more insightful scope of research and consulting services to the sports marketing industry.
